Nestled in the heart of picturesque Branscombe in Devon, lies Masons Arms, a listed 14th Century Inn with 28 hotel rooms.

The restoration for St Austell Brewery required a considered and sensitive approach to retain the authenticity of 100s of years of use. We created a sense of warmth by layering a rich pallet of rusts, burnt reds and earthy sage greens, and enhancing the weathered familiarity of textures and tones through worn flagstones and reclaimed timbers. 

With a conscious effort to use appropriate rustic materials, we included the work of local artisans and blacksmiths, to give this property a new lease of life by restoring it to its former glory.
